I hope everyone is enjoying Spring! It's been a great April....
I'm very pleased to announce that Sandra Stillwell Presents 2013 convention, "Every Day's A Holiday" is almost sold out!!! Only a few spots remain!
I really can't give thanks enough for all the enthusiastic inquiries I've received about convention -- it's very gratifying to hear how much my "Sandra Stillwell Presents" events mean to so many!
Registrations are coming in at a record pace, so if you've not yet registered and plan to join us in Kansas City, please RSVP and send your registration as soon as possible! Spaces are limited, and I'd hate for anyone to be disappointed by missing out on the holiday event of the year!
If you've already RSVP's but have not officially "registered", don't worry -- your space will be held as long as we have availability. I'll send a group email before releasing any spots, but to be guaranteed, please don't delay!
If you're interested in an absentee registration, please contact me to be placed on the wait list -- the higher you are on the list, the greater your chance!
The best holiday plans are filled with anticipation...so stay tuned in the upcoming weeks for more information about "Every Day's A Holiday" and the related tours. I'm very excited about all the fun we have planned in Kansas City and, like a kid at Christmas, can hardly wait to share it all with you!
In addition to special holiday celebrations to look forward to, I'm super excited by the gorgeous samples arriving from the factories! You and your dollies will be VERY pleased with the delightful holiday surprises!
Speaking of fun, anticipation and pleasant surprises...
It seems no sooner did I share the exciting "Sandra Stillwell Presents" announcement of our "Every Day's A Holiday" convention before was I was packing my cheery Chevy to head off to sunny Florida for IDEX --which is a doll lover's delight!
There was simply too much delicious eye candy to mention each vendor individually, but personal highlights were the Horsman, Tonner and Angelic Dreamz booths, as well as the many treasures at Facets and exquisite dolls of Crawford Manor! One of my favorite doll shops -- Lulu's Doll World and Surroundings -- was a first time vendor whose booth was filled with fabulous OOAK artist dolls and extremely limited BJD treasures.
The Horsman Ltd booth looked especially grand -- a fitting showcase for their top gal, Vita, and her beautiful new fashions and accessories! I love the Horsman team's enthusiasm -- which is but one of the reasons I'm thrilled they've accepted my invitation to join us for the holidays in KC!
I always enjoy the opportunity to chat with manufacturers and see new doll and Teddy bear debuts -- not to mention "playing" with dolly friends I may not get to see elsewhere -- but this IDEX was surrounded by exceptional anticipation and the promise of a bright new "star"....Angelic Dreamz' JamieShow Gene!
The many collectors and fans who attended IDEX especially to greet Miss Marshall at her "coming out of retirement" party were not disappointed -- Gene was as lovely as ever!
I had the pleasure of spending an evening with fab photographer, Terri Gold, "playing" with JamieShow's Phoenix Gene, who modeled fashions from the Sandra Stillwell Presents "Radio Day's collection! Our "studio" was an ironing board, hotel lamp and a mirror, but Gene's radiance still shown through!
I'm proud to share the results of our impromptu IDEX photo shoot with you all below! I was absolutely blown away by how beautifully Phoenix Gene wore Sandra Stillwell Presents...and I believe you will be, too.
I invite you to visit my blog sales page to see earlier photos of the collection, if interested.
The "Radio Day's" fashions received an outstanding reception at IDEX, so availability is extremely limited -- in several cases only one of a design. Please contact me as soon as possible if anything catches your fancy...
Hope to see you all in Kansas City!
